The technician who installed telephone and internet today - rushed through everything and did not install it the way we wanted. I ended up on the phone for almost 2 hours getting explanations on what we had and how it worked and verifying prices. I then had to have my brother in law come over and fix what he had done wrong - some of it is unfixable - I'm stuck with a phone system in a manner I didn't want because the technician told us it had to be that way - turns out that was a lie, but he clipped the wires, so now we are stuck with it. Communication was also a problem due to a heavy accent. But really, it was clear he wanted to get in and out as quickly as he could. THEN it also turned out that we were "suckered" into some sort of promotion from the AT&T sales people when we signed up for service several weeks ago, so we are now protesting a charge on our credit card for something totally unrelated to what we wanted. Direct TV Technician also came out today and left without finishing the job - then hoped we "would give him tens" on his evaluation. Really? We have requested a different technician come out tomorrow to finish the job. VERY VERY unhappy camper today.
