Should I take my equipment with me when I move?

DIRECTV dishes remain installed at your old address, but everything else (remotes, receivers, your owner’s manual, the Wi-Fi Gateway, and U-verse equipment) should come with you. When you get your service transferred, your technician will take whatever isn’t needed.

How long does it usually take to transfer service?
