How long will it take to transfer or set up my services in my new home?

All you need to do is call, and in about 10 minutes we can have your services transferred or set up for you. You'll receive an email from us within 24 hours confirming your new AT&T services and your installation date.

Can I keep my existing phone number?

Usually you will be able to keep your phone number when you leave. When you call to have your services set up, we will let you know if you can or cannot keep your current number.

Can I take my current equipment with me?

If you aren't keeping the exact same services you currently have at your new home, then all equipment will need to be returned. If you plan on keeping the same services, then you can take your equipment with you. Make sure to clarify with our representative when you call in.

Do I have to pay to have my services installed at my new home?

There generally isn't any charge for the installation of your services. If you are an existing U-verse customer and moving, professional standard installation is included at no charge. If you are connecting more than three TV receivers or your home isn't wired for Internet, then there may be additional charges - make sure to talk to your installer to find out.

Will a technician have to come into my home?

Yes. A professional technician must come to your home to ensure your service is set up and working properly.
