I am a new customer to AT&T since August 25, 2015. I have to say that I am EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with them. When my husband called to arrange service at our temporary apartment which is on a horse farm, he was told that the service would be by month-to-month. This was good since we would only be at the farm for about 3 months. My husband also stated "basic" internet connection several times. It took AT&T about 6 days to get someone out which I was not happy with since I needed the internet service ASAP for my work and the kids' school. The appointment was scheduled for August 25th, but somehow the phone representative that took the new order had inputted my name as Christine and had the wrong phone so the tech never showed up on the 25th. I called AT&T by noon and assisted that someone come out. A tech named Brandon finally came out at 4:00ish on August 25th. He was the only person who was not disappointing! I finally had internet connection. Unbeknown to me, I had an ultimate or premium internet connection. I had to call customer service and down grade. They also did not have my correct mailing address which was different from the service address. Because I did not bundle, my internet service charges are expensive, but I needed it for the temporary time I'm at the apartment. It wasn't until today, September 14th, that I found out my bill is ready for payment and is due September 16th. Again, I called customer service. Ends up that my account was paperless, they did not have my correct gmail account on file, they set up an email address with AT&T and I'm in contract for 12 months. In order for me to get out of contract, I have to pay a penalty of $180.00. The representative, Ebony, at times, had a hard time understanding what I was saying and what I wanted. I was extremely upset and she knew it. I had to make my payment by phone by MC. Once the payment went through, she had the nerve to tell me that to process the payment over the phone I would get charged $5.00. I said, really!!!!! I guess there is no such thing as "good customer service" when you have an upset customer. She finally waived the payment. Once I move to my permanent place, I would consider breaking the contract with AT&T. I think that the price for internet service is too high and the customer service is not helpful.

I am a new customer to AT&T. I am living on a horse farm temporarily for 3 months until my house is completed. When TWC could not get the job done correctly in 3 different visits, I called AT&T. I insisted several times on the phone that all I needed was just basic internet connection. Although the phone representatives and the tech that came out were fine, I ended up with elite internet service. If it wasn't for my spasm folder, I would not have noticed until my first bill. I do not have a bundled package, so just for internet service it is EXPENSIVE. So far, I have not had any problems, but I've only had the service for a little over a week.
