I had some issues with getting my service started. On the day that my service was to be connected I had to call because I had not heard from anyone and it was getting late. After several contacts I was informed that my services were not going to be on that day but that it had been reschedule. If I had not made all of those calls I would not have known anything about it. Two days later the service tech show up he was professional and setup my service with no problem. Even though I had to inform him that a jack needed to be installed. Which I had stated to everyone I spoke to about my service.

My installer was prompt & efficient. His accent is a little thick, but I got used to it. However, the phone personal, who I called with questions prior to installation, were awful. Their accents were extremely thick, often unintelligible. The static on the line (no matter what phone I used) was also awful. AND they disconnected me TWICE, after saying they needed to put me on hold to look up my information. AT&T needs to remedy this immediately - I was so furious, I was ready to cancel the entire order!

Unfortunately, my family and I are quite disappointed with the quality of the service. The picture freezes constantly. Several technicians have attempted to resolve the problem, but none has been successful. Actually, the problem has gotten worse since the technician came last week. I am tired of having this problem. So although I like the pricing and package options, I can't enjoy watching my favorite shows because of the constant freezing. So, we will be switching to Dish or Direct.

I really hope someone actually reads this. I'll just hit the highlights: 1. ATT said DSL tech would be at my house on Sept. 13, but no tech arrived. I had an email confirmation, text confirmation and sales person tell me Sept. 13 was the date I would receive service. 2. Spent 2 hours trying to figure out why tech did not show. Received no answer to this, but told the tech would now come on Sept. 20. 3. On Sept. 20 tech came and turned on service, but didn't come in to check my phone lines. Phone lines inside were all messed up and couldn't get DSL to work (I figured since Time Warner actually comes inside my home to make sure I am connected AND online before they leave ATT should do the same, but they did not). 4. Since I couldn't figure out how to work on my own phone line inside, I called to cancel my service. 5. Customer service rep would not reimburse me for the activation fee even though I had been a customer for one day, and did not seem to care that ATT had initially messed up my order and told me the wrong day, which caused me to waste 2 hours on the phone trying to figure out what was wrong. 6. In sum, I cancelled after 1 day of service with your company. One day. If that doesn't set off any alarms for you and your customer service policy I don't know what will. Good luck.
