I had a terrible experience with the tech, who set up the bundle package via phone, but a great one with the tech who wired my home for U-Verse. Kyle, the tech who set up the bundle, fraudulently sold me a subscription to an outside IT company stating that I had to use this company in order to get my devices set up. He also tried to connect me with someone to sell me a DISH TV package when AT&T use Direct TV in my area. When I asked Bryan, the tech who wired my home for U-Verse, about the need to contact this other company to set up my devices he was stunned as setting up my devices is part of his job. I related to him the details of my phone call with Kyle regarding both the device set up (an additional $12.99 charge) and the attempt to sell DISH TV to me. He strongly suggested I call the tech support number. I followed his advice and the people at the tech support number was equally shocked. They even had to look up the company on the web because they had never heard of it. They also were confused as to why I was directed to contact this outside company and charged $12.99 when AT&T has their own IT techs with no charge to the customers. I eventually had to contact this outside company to get the subscription stopped and my money refunded. If it weren't for Bryan, I would have been fleeced by the dishonest tech who sold me the bundle. Bryan was looking out not only for AT&T but for his customer, too.
