Compared to prior years' subscriptions to AT&T DSL service in 2005 and 2011, my recent purchase of internet service was quite seamless. The technician was able to find his way around existing network connections in the house without my intervention. 2015-05-13.

I have had AT&T U-verse for about a week - and so far so good. The installation tech was quick, efficient and very helpful with getting me started. He made sure that all phones - landline and cellular - internet and cable were working well. Also making sure that any/all questions that I had were answered to my satisfaction before leaving. Our U-Verse service was set up in the wrong state. It took 1.5+ hrs to try to get 'customer service' to even understand the problem and no one I spoke with was able to fix it. I was continually directed to a different department. My call was disconnected in their system twice. Multiple AT&T staff said they had made notes in my account when indeed they did not, so each time I called back I had to explain the situation once again. I was not impressed with their staff and we still do not have service.

I'm renewing my service, so obviously they're doing something right. Great speed, easy installation, can't complain. The only problem was that I was sent a modem, even though I had one from my previous service, and it's been kind of a hassle to get it sent back, and the credit applied to my account.
