The person that I talked to originally, told me that I was receiving a free month of internet. Turns out, I only get the free month if I cancel. Then the guy that originally hooked up the internet at my house did not do it correctly. He unhooked my neighbor's internet and hooked my lines up to it. So I had the internet for three days, and then had to do without for a week, while AT&T sorted it out. So far I have not been very happy with my AT&T service. :(

I am very dissapointed in the customer service i received from AT&T. I ordered DSL Pro on a Friday morning. I explained to Customer Service that this was a SELF INSTALL and all i needed was someone to come out and activate my account. After 5 hours of being put on hold, disconnected, and having to call back i was told it would be two weeks before i would get my services activated (something that takes 3-5 business days). I called back to get my account number (bc i wasnt given one) and AT&T customer service lost my original order and account number. So i had do the process all over and got an account number. I was told a tech would come out and activitate my DSL on the following Monday. Monday no one came no services activitated. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday no one came and no services activated. On Thursday evening i called and filed a comlaint. Found out that Customer service had put a ticket in saying i needed full install of DSL after i told them that it was SELF INSTALLED and all i needed was it to be acitivated! So they had to create a new ticket and Dispatch assured me that they will have someone out activating my DSL that Friday morning between 8am and 10am. At 11am on Friday no phone call. I call to make another complaint and after 6 hours of transfers, disconnections, i contact CSM and found out that AT&T cancelled my order!! So CSM recreated my order and put it as hgh priority. A technichian was out at my house Saturday morning activiating my DSL. I have NEVER had such horrible customer service!! AT&T really needs to work on their Customer Service people!!! ***The technician did a wonderful job and was very nice. ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS WITH THE TECHNICIAN. The DSL internet is great and fast.
