How does DIRECTV connect to your house?

You can now connect to DIRECTV two different ways:

  • Streaming. Uses your high-speed home internet service to receive TV signal. Simply connect your DIRECTV Gemini receiver to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to start service.
  • Satellite. Uses a 2-foot satellite dish to receive TV signal via radio waves. To start service, a DIRECTV technician will come install your dish and connect it to your DIRECTV Genie.
