COVID-19: Here’s What AT&T is Doing to Support its Customers

Zero late fees, waived data caps, and more.

As many people face financial difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic, AT&T has made several adjustments to its policies in order to provide additional service for its customers and help them stay connected

AT&T what we are doing image

Here’s how.

AT&T has implemented the following changes:

  • Waived late fees for postpaid wireless and broadband or home phone residential customers
  • Waived domestic wireless plan coverage changes for data, voice, or text
  • Halted zero service terminations
  • Provided unlimited data for laptop, tablets, and hotspots for 60 days
  • Offered free access to the Caribu video calling app
  • Provided open public Wi-Fi hotspots
  • Allowed free phone calls for military personnel on select Navy ships (until April 30, 2020)
  • Continued 24/7 online support

AT&T will waive these late fees through May 13, 2020. Please note that it may take a couple billing cycles until your account reflects your updated balance.

Prepared to help the community stay safe

For a limited time, AT&T will offer free express shipping on online orders for wireless customers.

In addition, AT&T is now offering curbside pick-up and doorstep delivery for online orders. Curbside pick-ups will allow customers to pick up orders at open AT&T stores without leaving their cars.

Doorstep delivery will offer no-contact expedited delivery to consumers and small businesses with eligible orders. As part of AT&T Ready to Go, AT&T will continue to deliver your product to you wherever you are, as well as set it up for you with a virtual expert setup.

Here to Help Students Learn Online

AT&T has expanded eligibility requirements to Access for households that participate in the National School Lunch Program and Head Start

What we are doing—AT&T

Also, AT&T is working with the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) to help fund a resource center that makes eLearning broadly available. With this resource center, all educators will have access to eLearning tools and software, so they can continue to teach.
