Disaster Recovery Exercise

14 July, 2009

Dallas-based AT&T is currently holding the largest network disaster recovery (NDR) drill ever in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of government officials and business executives are expected to attend the AT&T Business Continuity Forum at the Hyatt Regency today.

AT&T understands that communicating during an emergency is very important. The NDR exercise will identify how well AT&T can recover from disasters and emergencies, including wildfires and hurricanes. Based on the results of the NDR test, AT&T can evaluate its weak areas and improve its network to reduce downtime in the future.

"With hurricane season underway, the importance of ensuring communications combined with the need to be fully prepared is critical for both government and business," said Kevin Peters, Executive Vice President of AT&T's Global Network Operations.

AT&T deals with emergencies better than any other provider in the industry! When disaster strikes, take comfort in knowing that AT&T’s networks have you covered. Take advantage of the latest AT&T bundles, priced low to match your budget.
